What are Open Ear hearing aids?
Traditional hearing aids completely plug up your ear canal, which makes your own voice sound bad to you and can make you feel isolated from the rest of your world. Open Ear hearing aids leave your ear canal open so that you can hear both the amplified sounds from the hearing aid and the natural sounds in your environment. Open Ear hearing aids are very small. The hearing aid prices listed on our site already include the cost for our provider's services. The hearing aid selection is based on your need and not someone's profit margin or contractual obligation.
When we receive your hearing aid from the manufacturer they are inspected and then sent to the provider's office.
Orders are sent to our network provider's office via 2-3 Day Priority Mail, signature required.
When the hearing aids arrive at the provider's office the provider will program and adjust each hearing aid to your audiogram. Then they will fine tune the hearing aid.
The first three years of hearing aid adjustments are included in our hearing aid prices. Other companies advertising on the Internet have contracted their providers to give just one-year of adjustments. Ask them how long their providers are contracted to provide services. Then call the provider and ask them to insure you receive the same answer. This protects you.
